Ski trip (and sledding)
Today was Caitlyn and Hunter's Christmas present day. Their Aunt Leah and Uncle Bob purchased them a ski lesson for 2 hours at Hoodoo. They had so much fun!!!!
Caitlyn Skiing
Here is the cutest video of Caitlyn skiing, she starts out slow with the instructor, and ends just bombing down the mountain! This was one of the only times I saw her fall!
More Sledding
Here are pics of almost everyone sledding...

Snowman!
Snow came at Grandma and Grandpas house, so a snowman was born! Grandpa got out there and helped (did most the work) build a snowman. Caitlyn had so much fun.

So Much!
A few vacation pics from the end of August and Labor Day weekend. Caitlyn and I went on a 7 night trip away from home and family. (Well, most family.) We spent 5 nights in Sunriver. We got to Bend on Tuesday evening and had dinner with her dad, and on Wednesday in Sunriver we painted bird houses (that I still need to hang somewhere!), rode bikes, and relaxed. On Thursday morning we set out on a 300 mile, 12 hour day trip in a look towards that John Day Fossil Beds. We stopped at the Clarno unit and went for a hike to see a natural bridge in the rocks, saw a lizard, and got soooo hot! The next stop was the town of Fossil where we could look for fossils and could bring some home (which I did, cait just brought rocks). We went for a swim in a creek nearby there to cool off and then ventured to the painted hills. Those were gorgeous! Cait isn't quite old enough to appreciate them, but they were pretty. It was a long day, and it was nice to get back to Sunriver! On Friday, Nick and Tara were by and we spent some time with them and baby Grayden. Cait and Nick jumped off the bridge into the Deshutes River. She is sooo brave! On Saturday, we ventured up to Mt. Bachelor. Her first time on a high speed chair lift. (She's been to hoodoo once). The views were gorgeous - but cold! Sunday morning we left Sunriver and headed to Crater Lake - another gorgeous view that was soooo much colder than bachelor! The road from Crater Lake south towards Grants Pass was very nice. It had a multiple places to get out and view the upper Rogue River, we saw a couple of waterfalls on one hike, it was pretty - I'd do that again! We stayed in Grants Pass that night, and on Monday we took the drive to the Oregon Caves just outside of Cave Junction. She did great in the cave and stayed warm. She even got a kiss from the cave! After the caves, we found this wild cat park in Cave Junction and spent 2 hours touring the wild cats and hearing them roar and jump on the cages - it was awesome! That night, I had surprised Cait by renting a treehouse to stay in at this treehouse resort just south of Cave Juntion. She had fun with that, ours was called the Treeloon. It had the shape of an old saloon. There were horses, swings, a big firepit, ziplines (yes, we did those too!). She had a blast. I would have loved to stay more than one night there, it was great. On the sad day to come home (Tuesday), we came home via the wildlife safari and definitely saw some amazing (and weird) animals. It was a long trip with a 4 1/2 year old, but so worth it!!!
Here is the link to the album I created of the photos. There were WAY too many I wanted to post here.

Vacation
I'll get more of my vacation up here when I get back... but I finally have access to the internet and I'm trying to get cait to go to sleep here in the hotel in Grants Pass. So here is the video that I took of her and Uncle Nick jumping off the bridge over the Deschutes River, just down the road from the SunRiver house.

Long Weekend
We had a long weekend! Wow, I'm glad it's over. We had a blast and would do it all over if we could! On Friday, we took off to Sunriver with Jeremy, Novalee, Brandon, Teresa, Lilly and Justine. We had our hands full! Three 4-year olds and a 2-year old!!! We were crazy! On Saturday we had a mix up of some times we could swim, but we managed to calm the kids down. We had lunch in the park. Nick and Tara came by with baby Grayden and that was great. It was the first time I got to see him. Maybe only the third time for Caitlyn even!
We made it to the pool in the afternoon still.
We also let the kids play outside at the Sunriver house. Well, that was fun! We had sand in eyes, slivers, and peeing outside by the trees! The kids had a blast.
On Sunday, we celebrated Cinco de Softball with Bob and Leah. The kids got the firs few swings at the pinata, and thought that was great!
Today, we had a Mother's Day breakfast with Leah and Bob, and then Cait, Leah and I went swimming in Corvallis with Tonya and Will. Caitlyn and I finished the weekend off with cousin Ben's baseball game up here in Mill City. It was only the next to last game, and the only one we made it to!
