Ski trip (and sledding)

Today was Caitlyn and Hunter's Christmas present day. Their Aunt Leah and Uncle Bob purchased them a ski lesson for 2 hours at Hoodoo. They had so much fun!!!!

Here is the cutest video of Caitlyn skiing, she starts out slow with the instructor, and ends just bombing down the mountain! This was one of the only times I saw her fall!

Cait's 2nd ski trip

Caitlyn went skiing for the 2nd time last week. Grandma and Grandpa took her and she had a blast, and seemed to do pretty good. Here are a few pics (we'll get more tomorrow when we take her!)

The Freeze

This morning we woke up to the power out, and trees falling! The ice has frozen over so much off dads trees that branches and whole trees are falling down. Some on top of the fence too! But, in the meantime, there isn't much we can do except watch and listen. Here are a few pictures from this morning.

Snow, lights, so ready for Christmas!

We have had bunches of snow and ice this last week. Well, tonight getting Caitlyn I was able to see Jenni & Bill's house with the lights and snow at once! It was so Christmas like!

Snowman!

Snow came at Grandma and Grandpas house, so a snowman was born! Grandpa got out there and helped (did most the work) build a snowman. Caitlyn had so much fun.

Well, it's been a bit since I have posted anything fun, even about Caitlyn. So, here goes...

Cait decided that she hadn't played with the neighbor girls for awhile, so I called them up and volunteered to take them all to the park for the afternoon while their mom ran to Stayton for 2 hours. They were surprisingly pretty well behaved! We walked to the park (where we met up with one of Kylee's friends from kindergartedn - upper left). This was truly a great photo opp!

Last weekend (when it was about 90 degrees out), Cait and I took off to the lake. The road still had quite a bit of snow and some downed trees, so we walked most of it. She had a blast walking around in the snow in her dress! We went fishing for the first time of the year, caught one fish about 10-12 inches long. He was a big sucker!

Cait is in swim lessons right now as well. She gets to have 2 of her close friends from school with her too! They all have so much fun! Cait is jumping in, Shelbie to her right, and Bailey next. They are learning so fast!

Snow Time...

Caitlyn and I took a little snow shoe trip on Friday. Well, I snow shoe'd, and she rode in the sled behind me! We took our lunch back to the cabin and ate there and then headed back out and back home. It was a great time with her!
